Alcohol, ex-boyfriends and knives don’t mix well at Pasco home
What started as a drunken argument at a West Argent Road home turned violent and bloody, Pasco police said.
The fight involving a woman, her boyfriend and her ex-boyfriend started on the 6600 block shortly before 6:40 p.m. Thursday, police said.
Police said Donald A. Johnson lives in a trailer in the back yard of his ex-wife’s home. Her boyfriend was visiting her.
The men began fighting and, police say, Johnson stabbed the boyfriend, who then hit Johnson in the ear with a carpenter’s square.
The two men separated, but Johnson then hurled a piece of wood at the other man, police said.
Johnson told police he was trying to throw the knife when it accidentally stabbed the boyfriend. The thrown wood was another accident.
“Yeah, the officers didn’t believe it, either,” Pasco police said on their Facebook page. “Both men had to get stitched up in the hospital, but after the ex got his ear sewed back up, he got booked into Franklin County jail.”
