Pasco police want help tracking the owner of a motorcycle that may have been used to elude an officer Thursday.

Sgt. Brad Gregory spotted the Suzuki speeding on West A Street at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. When he signaled him to stop, the rider ignored him and managed to escape.

Last night at 10:37 p.m., officers found a similar motorcycle and a matching helmet at a home in the area of Henry Street and Road 36.

“We tried the usual stuff,” Pasco police said. “The registered owner says he sold it long ago. The owner of the property it was on is out of the country.”

Police are asking anyone with information about the bike’s current owner or the person riding it on Thursday to call 509-545-3510 about case PP17-57202.
