2 hurt in Highway 12 collision near Pasco
A Tuesday morning crash on Highway 12 five miles east of Pasco sent two people to the hospital.
Berenice Mendoza, 30, of Pasco, was trying to drive across the highway from Sacajawea Park Road in a Chevy Impala at 7:32 a.m.
She crossed the eastbound lanes, and hit a Ford F150 pickup driven by Juan M. Aguilar Mendoza, 39, of Pasco, in the westbound lanes, the Washington State Patrol said.
Both drivers were taken to Lourdes Medical Center with neck and back pain.
WSP cited Berenice Mendoza with failing to yield and driving with a suspended license.
