Kennewick teen grabbed by the throat. Police looking for 2 men

Kennewick police are hunting for two men who assaulted a teen at the Circle K on Clearwater Avenue.

Many of the details of what happened are not in the police report, including why the two men approached the 13-year-old boy at the convenience store Monday afternoon.

The boy told police he did not know them.

One man reportedly grabbed the teen by the throat, said Sgt. Bryan Weatherbee.

Other people reported seeing the incident, but the report does not say if they intervened or why the men eventually left.

Officers are asking anyone with information on the men or the incident to call 509-628-0333.
