He threatened a woman, she stabbed him. Then things got interesting

Pasco police are searching for a man who left the scene of his own stabbing.

Agustin Gallardo Ledezma, 28, of Pasco, allegedly approached a woman late Sunday who has a restraining order against him

The encounter happened at 11:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Garibaldi’s Restaurant near the corner of Court Street and Fifth Avenue.

Police say the two dated for about two years and had a child together. The woman received a protection order about a month ago following another assault, said police Sgt. Scott Warren.

Sunday, he reportedly threatened the woman with a knife, but she turned the tables on him. She pulled it away from him and stabbed him in the chest, police said.

She left him on the ground and went home to call 911.

When police arrived, all they found was some blood and Ledezma’s black Challenger. He had vanished.

His cellphone was off, and his work vehicle had not moved.

“It looks like he was probably not injured seriously and probably got a ride out of the area of Garibaldi’s,” police said.

Anyone with information on the altercation or his location, is asked to contact Pasco police at 509-545-3421.
