Police have a tip for people carrying drugs in their car: Don’t drive with a suspended license.

A sharp-eyed Kennewick officer allegedly spotted Victor Armijo, 34, of Pasco, behind the wheel of a black Acura along Johnson Road just after midnight on Nov. 3.

He knew Armijo wasn’t supposed to be driving, Officer Kirk Nebeker said.

As the officer arrested Armijo for driving with a suspended license, he saw syringes filled with drugs scattered across the seat.

The car was impounded until Thursday, when officers searched it and came away with the syringes, packs of methamphetamine and heroin, and bottles with pills and digital scales.
