WSU dorm RA arrested in Pullman bomb threats
Washington State University police have arrested an 18-year-old WSU student on suspicion of threatening to bomb the residence hall where he worked.
Officers arrested sophomore Jose Andres Tecuatl at 10 p.m. Monday and booked him into the Whitman County jail. Tecuatl faces three counts of threatening to bomb and three counts felony harassment.
Tecuatl was a resident assistant for Stimson Hall at WSU’s Pullman campus.
Police said they searched Tecuatl’s room and his computer, where they found evidence linking him to this past week’s threats.
Police also said they found no evidence that Tecuatl had the ability to bomb something.
