Kennewick police get a little help, nab suspected thieves

Kennewick police caught up to accused burglars who broke into several offices last week.

Detectives arrested Ricky Corby, 39, and Timothy Belk, 29, Monday night in connection with a burglary at an office building on the 3300 block of Clearwater Avenue.

After allegedly breaking into a building at 1 a.m. Aug. 9., they climbed through a shared ceiling to steal electronics, computer equipment, credit cards and various small items from nine offices inside.

With the help of a Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers tip, detectives identified the men and he was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary.

The investigation may tie into several vehicle prowls and other burglaries in Kennewick and Richland, say investigators.

Belk also was arrested and taken to the Benton County jail for allegedly possessing methamphetamine.
