Two men were stabbed in a knife fight inside a boarded up Pasco home Monday afternoon.

A 34-year-old man with serious knife wounds was found on the sidewalk about 3 p.m. on the 500 block of South Sycamore Avenue, said Pasco Sgt. Brad Gregory.

Officers then discovered a 41-year-old man inside the small house with less serious injuries. He was taken to Lourdes Medical Center, and the first man was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

It’s unclear how the men knew each other.

“We’re trying to figure out what the circumstances were,” Gregory said.

A piece of plywood hung over one of the windows while other sheets of plywood had been removed the doors and other windows. Gregory said it appeared that someone was squatting inside the home.

“The place has been unoccupied for some time,” he said.

Police did not release the men’s names pending notifying their families.
