Kennewick woman accused of stabbing boyfriend’s crotch

A Kennewick woman was jailed after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend in the crotch late Wednesday night.

The man told police that Myra Orta, 22, attacked him. When officers and medics arrived at the home on the 1000 block of West Fourth Avenue, they found the man was suffering from a non-life threatening wound.

Kennewick police did not say what the couple were fighting about.

Orta remained Thursday in the Benton County jail on investigation of second-degree domestic violence assault.
