W. Richland man thrown from motorcycle on I-182

A West Richland man was in stable condition Tuesday after being thrown from his motorcycle as he exited Interstate 182 in Pasco.

James L. Gaines, 64, was turning onto Highway 395 about 2:15 p.m. when the rear wheel of his 2013 Harley-Davidson lost traction, and he was flung from his seat, said the Washington State Patrol.

He was taken to Lourdes Medical Center and was being kept overnight for observation.
