Foreign language sparks fight outside of Kennewick McDonald’s

A fight in Kennewick that left one man injured appears to be a hate crime, police said.

The assault started shortly before 11 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of the McDonald’s on Kennewick Avenue, when a group of Hispanic men became upset at other two men speaking a foreign language, police said.

One of the people involved was taken to a hospital for treatment.
