The Kennewick Police Department pulled a driver over for speeding on the wrong side of Volland Street, then arrested him for drunken driving after looking inside his car.

A police photo posted on Facebook shows an open can of beer sitting in the console cup holder between the front seats.

Michael E. Darden, 31, was booked late Wednesday into the Benton County jail for DUI and an outstanding warrant.
