Kennewick man went to buy game console, robbed instead
A 20-year-old Kennewick man went to Columbia Park on Wednesday to buy a game console but instead he was robbed of his cash.
He knew the person he was supposed to buy it from, said Sgt. Ken Lattin. They met in the park at 8 p.m.
Tanner Daugherty, 20, of Kennewick, allegedly pointed a pistol at the victim and stole his money. Lattin said the pistol was an airsoft gun.
Daugherty and Joshua Verdun, 19, of Kennewick, were found by police and arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery.
