Pasco police are warning drivers to slow down and watch for wildlife near the Sacajawea Park Road and Road 40 East.

“Just because you don’t see people doesn’t mean there is nothing to hit,” said officers.

Police issued the alert on the police department’s Facebook page along with a photo of two deer by the road, frozen in a police car spotlight.

“Speed limits are created for a reason and need to be followed, even if you think you are the only one around,” said the post.
