A small pedal boat was found drifting down the Columbia River on Thursday morning.

The white boat was pulled from the river by the Pasco Fire and Rescue boat and tied off at the Pasco Boat Basin.

Fire officials speculated the small recreational craft recently slid into the water and floated away.

No one was in the boat and how it got into the river was not known.
