‘Suspicious’ fire torches cars, shed in Finley

A grass fire burned two vehicles and a shed early Friday in Finley before it was brought under control.

Benton Fire District 1 said it responded to the grass fire shortly after 2 a.m. at PR 2181 near Cochran Road. The fire ended up burning about one acre of grass, two parked cars and a shed.

The cause is under investigation but fire officials were considering it suspicious.
