Kennewick restaurant burglar steals cash, food, alcohol

Some food, alcohol and cash was stolen from a downtown Kennewick restaurant with an unlocked front door Tuesday night.

Employees at the Downtown Diner at 20 S. Auburn St. called police about the burglary when they opened shop Wednesday morning and noticed items were taken, said police.

The suspect used the unlocked front door but ended up leaving two “computer-related electronics” inside.
