Man with knife arrested for alleged threats to kill Pasco residents
A knife-wielding man was arrested Monday night after he allegedly threatened to kill several people in a Pasco home.
Freddy Hortado-Gutierrez, 31, was at home with four other men when someone inside the house called 911 to report that he had a knife and was threatening them. The four other residents made it out of the house safely once police arrived. Hortado-Gutierrez stayed in the living room for about an hour until officers got search warrants and broke in.
Hortado-Gutierrez did not resist arrest, police said. Pasco police also received help from Benton County sheriff’s deputies and Kennewick police on SWAT duty.
Hortado-Gutierrez was booked into the Franklin County jail on suspicion of threats to kill.
