Dedication ceremony Aug. 24 for new park in east Pasco

The public is invited to join in the dedication of a new park in east Pasco on Aug. 24.

Community Alliance for Service and Advancement, or CASA LLC, is gifting the new park to the city of Pasco as part of the Tierra Vida neighborhood.

The dedication ceremony is 5-6 p.m. at 3309 Tierra Vida Lane. Refreshments will be served.

Tierra Vida is an intentional residential community with a community center, afterschool programs, a cafe, and events and services for its residents to help improve their quality of life.

The park includes a community garden, a walking path, a playground and space for a soccer field.
