League to discuss climate change in Richland on anniversary
Women’s Equality Day will be marked on Aug. 24 in Richland with a discussion of climate change organized by the League of Women Voters of Benton and Franklin Counties.
The event will mark the 96th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment. The league will discuss preparations for possible changes that climate change could bring.
It starts at 5:30 p.m. at the gazebo closest to the boat ramp at Columbia Point Marina Park in Richland. For more information, email lwv.of.bf@gmail.com.
