Cable bridge to be lit teal for ovarian cancer Sept. 1

The Tri-Cities Cancer Center has partnered with Ovarian Cancer Together to light the Cable Bridge teal for the month of September to create greater awareness of ovarian cancer.

The community is invited to attend the lighting event from 7-9 p.m. Sept. 1 at the Clover Island Inn, 435 N. Clover Island Dr., Kennewick. Clover Island Inn will offer a teal drink and food specials for the event.

The name of every survivor present and every woman lost this year and in the past will be read aloud in honor of their battle.
