I-82 Benton City ramp to close Thursday, Friday nights

The westbound ramp to Interstate-82 into Benton City will be closed for work on the new roundabout Aug. 18 and 19.

The ramp first closes at 8 p.m. Aug. 18 and reopens at 5 a.m. the following morning. The ramp then closes again at 8 p.m. on Aug. 19 and will open Saturday afternoon.

Signs will guide drivers around the closure areas, the state transportation department said.
