1 killed, 2 injured in collision near Pasco

A woman was killed Saturday after a car blasted through a stop sign and hit another car 10 miles north of Pasco.

The wreck happened about 11 a.m. at an intersection when a man and a woman, who have not been identified, were driving east on Selph Landing Road toward Taylor Flats Road.

The car never slowed down and struck another car driving north on Taylor Flats Road, Franklin County sheriff’s deputies said.

The drivers were taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland with serious injuries.

The passenger of the car coming from Selph Landing Road was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing. Officials will release names once next of kin are notified.
