Dan Newhouse headlines Aug. 24 chamber luncheon

U.S. Rep. Dan Newhouse, R-Wash., will provide a congressional update at the Aug. 24 membership luncheon of the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Newhouse is running for re-election in November against fellow Republican Clint Didier, a Franklin County farmer and retired professional football player.

The luncheon is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick. Cost is $22 for members who register by Aug. 19 and $32 for nonmembers or late registration.
