Richland pool to close for Slide the City event

Richland’s George Prout Pool will be closed July 23.

The city is closing the pool to accommodate a swim meet and for its staff to support the “Slide the City” event.

Slide the City is a daylong block event that includes a 1,000-foot slip-and-slide along Lee Boulevard.
