State House candidates meet at Pasco chamber lunch July 11

The Pasco Chamber of Commerce has invited candidates vying to represent the Ninth and 16th legislative districts in the state House of Representatives to its July 11 luncheon.

The candidates in contested races will introduce themselves and give short presentations on their platforms.

The luncheon is from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express in Pasco. Call 509-547-9755 or go to pascochamber.org for more details.

Invited candidates are:

Ninth District Position 1: Incumbent Mary Dye and challengers Jennifer Goulet and Hailey Roemer

16th District Position 1 (open seat): Allen Pomraning, Bill Jenkin, Skyler Rude, Rebecca Francik and Mary Ruth Edwards.

16th District Position 2: Incumbent Terry R. Nealey, Ricardo Espinoza and Gary Downing.
