Getting ready for the River of Fire celebration

Two Tidewater Transportation and Terminal employees check the anchor Friday on a barge at the Port of Pasco’s Big Pasco dock facility.

The barge will be used for the 2016 Tri-Cities River of Fire Festival display in Kennewick’s Columbia Park on July 4.

Over the weekend, a fireworks company will install the launch racks and fireworks so they can be fired off after dark over the Columbia River.
