Richland names economic development manager

The city of Richland has promoted Zach Ratkai to economic development manager.

In his new post, Ratkai will oversee the business and economic development division of the city’s community development department, led by Kerwin Jensen.

Ratkai was formerly the city’s redevelopment project manager.

He has worked in local government in Colorado and Washington and has a background in planning, economic development, public finance, disaster recovery and community relations.
