Keeping cool at Kennewick water spray park

Michael Patrick Salazar, 9, keeps his cool Tuesday by splashing through the water park features at the Southridge Sports & Event Complex in Kennewick.

The youngster was at the site with his grandfather, Ben Salazar of Kennewick. The heat wave is expected to last for the next several days, until a slight cooling trend over the weekend.
