A pig named Kevin is reunited with owners after impromptu stroll through neighborhood.

A Kennewick pig named Kevin was reunited with his owners Wednesday, thanks in part to the the porcine expertise of two Kennewick police officers who happen to own pigs.

The adventure started Wednesday morning when Kevin was discovered eating a neighboring dog’s food by a homeowner in the 3100 block of West Seventh Avenue.

Officers canvassed the neighborhood and found Kevin’s owners.

The Kennewick Police Department said it is illegal to keep livestock in city limits, but Kevin is legal. His owners were grandfathered in when the neighborhood was annexed.
