Integrative oncology talk planned June 15 at Northwest Cancer Clinic in Kennewick

Dr. Brian Lawenda of Northwest Cancer Clinic in Kennewick will give a free talk on June 15 about integrative oncology.

The talk is from noon to 1 p.m. at the clinic, 7379 W. Deschutes Ave., Suite 100. Lunch will be provided.

Lawenda is the Tri-City area’s first integrative oncologist. He uses complementary therapies such as acupuncture, nutrition and exercise counseling to optimize outcomes during cancer treatment.

Lawenda is a Harvard-trained and board certified radiation oncologist and a Stanford/UCLA-trained medical acupuncturist. He’s medical director of the clinic.
