Kennewick wants to know about great yards

Kennewick is looking for a few good yards.

The city is seeking nominations for homes and businesses with great landscaping for its Yard of the Season program.

Awards are given for spring, summer and fall. The next nominations are due by June 7 and Sept. 7.

Winners are given a certificate of appreciation at a council meeting. A picture is posted on the program’s website and a sign is put in the yard.
