7 injured after car rolls down steep embankment south of Kennewick

A car rolled down a steep embankment injuring seven people on Interstate 82 between Coffin Road and McNary Bridge about 4:30 p.m. Friday.

No one was killed in the crash, officials said.

One vehicle was involved, officials said.

Those involved have been taken to area hospitals. The Washington State Patrol is investigating.

Expect delays through the area, the State Department of Transportation said.
