Dangerous waste law changes to be discussed June 9 in Richland

The Washington state coordinator for rule changes to the state’s dangerous waste regulations will visit Richland on June 9 to discuss proposed changes that could be adopted later this year.

Robert Rieck also will discuss the process for making state rules on dangerous waste.

His presentation will be at a meeting of the Eastern Washington Chapter of the Academy of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers at 5:30 p.m. at the Environmental Technology Building at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, 3200 Innovation Blvd. The public is invited.
