Ready for temperatures in the triple digits? That’s what the National Weather Service is forecasting for the Tri-Cities this weekend.

For Wednesday the weather service has issued a red flag fire warning from 2 to 9 p.m. for the Tri-City Area.

Low relative humidity, warm temperatures and breezy weather will cause any fires that develop to spread quickly.

The highs Wednesday through Friday in the Tri-Cities should be in the mid 80s to about 90 degrees.

The weather should heat up for the weekend with a high in the upper 90s Saturday and a high that could reach the low triple digits in the Tri-Cities Sunday. Monday should be nearly as warm.

The normal high for early June in the Tri-Cities is about 78 degrees.
