Flame of Hope ceremony for Special Olympics Washington held at Kennewick Police Station

Law enforcement officers from across southeastern Washington have made a tradition of running the torch 384 miles across the state for the games held June 3-5 at Joint Base Lewis McChord and the King County Aquatics Center near Seattle.
Torch Runs will begin next week from various locations throughout the state and each gathering at the Lakewood Police Station on June 3 before the final trek to the games venue.
The Tri-Cities has been the highest earning community in the state for Special Olympics Washington, according to a press release.
