New hearing loss group to meet May 21 in Kennewick

The inaugural meeting of the local Hearing Loss Association of American chapter is set for 9:30 a.m. May 21 in the clubhouse of Santiago Sunset Estates, 2105 N. Steptoe St., Kennewick.

Anyone with hearing loss, as well as their families, friends and coworkers, and those with a professional or personal interest in hearing loss, are invited to attend.

The group will meet for friendship, support and new information. The group also will support, advocate and educate for better hearing through sharing of information, teaching skills and offering occasional presentations by professionals in current technology.
