A practice evacuation of Richland school students went off “very well,” said Don Gossard, Civil Defense coordinator. Grocers are issuing pamphlets with instructions on preparations of Civil Defense food kits and there are indications that Richland residents are making up the kits, Gossard said. This weekend, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Explorers are distributing more Civil Defense evacuation pamphlets.
