Habitat for Humanity names new executive director
Lisa Godwin is the new executive director for Tri-County Partners Habitat for Humanity.
Godwin has a degree in social work and 27 years of nonprofit and development experience. She was the director of development at Liberty Christian School in Richland for three years before she was hired by Habitat for Humanity in 2014.
A graduate of Leadership Tri-Cities Class XX, Godwin helped to create the now annual Tri ART for Giving event. Previous social service roles include homeless liaison in the Gilbert, Ariz., school district and as case worker of the Michigan Indian Child Welfare Agency.
Godwin replaces Rick Jansons, who stepped down to run for an 8th District state legislative seat.
