Tri-Cities Democrats to hear about the homeless May 13

The Tri-Cities Democrats meet at 5:45 p.m. May 13 at the Laborers’ Hall, 2505 West Duportail St. in Richland.

Byron Brooks, the director of men's services for the Tri-City Union Gospel Mission in Pasco, will speak about their services and the expansion project. He also will talk about what it is like to be homeless in the Tri-Cities.

A potluck begins at 6 p.m. and the presentation begins at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend the presentation.
