Wonders of Wildlife event planned in Pasco

A “Wonders of Wildlife” event with hands-on demonstrations for children through adults is planned 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 14 in Pasco.

The Wolf Education & Research Center and Western Wildlife Outreach are among agencies planning the event at the Tierra Vida Community Center, 3525 East A St.

Presentations and demonstrations will cover birds of prey, wolves, bears and other predators; fieldwork fundamentals; a career panel for future biologists; and dissections of owl pellets and fish. There is no cost.
