UPDATE: Pasco motorcyclist killed in Canal Drive wreck

A 66-year-old Pasco man was killed Sunday night when he apparently lost control of his motorcyle and crashed on Canal Drive in Kennewick.

His name has yet to be released because his family was being notified.

The accident happened at 6:10 p.m. on Canal Drive at the intersection of Kent Street, where the road curves over the canal bridge.

He crossed the center line into eastbound traffic and collided with a car, police said.

The man died at the scene. The driver of the car was not injured, police said.
