Windy late afternoon, evening for Mother’s Day in Tri-Cities
Enjoy the nice weather until 2 p.m. on Mother’s Day in the Tri-Cities because that’s when the wind is expected to start to kick up.
A brisk spring breeze of 14 to 20 mph is forecast, with gusts up to 32 mph by evening. Expect patches of blowing dust, says the National Weather Service.
The wind should start to die down at about 8 p.m.
Sunny and warm weather should continue through the rest of the week.
A forecast high in the low 80s today will be followed with highs in the mid 70s Monday and Tuesday in the Tri-Cities. Then highs are expected to return to the low to mid 80s for the rest of the week.
