Tri-City bird walk keyed to spring migration species

The spring migration has many species of birds visiting Bateman Island just in time for the May bird walk.

The Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society will lead the walk starting at 8 a.m. May 7 at Wye Park above the causeway to the island on Columbia Park Trail.

Participants owning binoculars should bring them and be prepared to walk for several hours.
