Donations sought at Richland event for aiding homeless

The Columbia Basin College nursing program, in partnership with the Tri-City Union Gospel Mission, is holding a donation drive from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. May 7 at the Health Science Center parking lot, 891 Northgate Drive in Richland.

The Mission for the Mission will be collecting clothing, shoes, canned food, cleaning, bathroom and medical supplies. Donations help the mission in aiding the homeless, the hungry and providing basic medical, dental, and counseling care.

All donations are tax deductible.
