Symposium to highlight WSU Tri-Cities student work

Student-produced artwork and research will be showcased during a three-day symposium at Washington State University Tri-Cities beginning May 3.

Students will give presentations on their work from noon to 1 p.m. in the Consolidated Information Center and then in the atrium of the West Building on May 5. Admission is free.

Among the research topics are toxins in mussels and clams from harmful algal blooms; an exploration of immigration, migration and ethnic identity through personal accounts and family histories; and the design of bridges, buildings and structural platforms.
