Franklin County responds to possible drowning at Palouse Falls
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a possible drowning at Palouse Falls State Park on Sunday evening.
Emergency responders, including dive rescue teams and an ambulance, were called to the park on the Palouse River in north Franklin County near Starbuck shortly before 5:30 p.m. The river drops from a height of 198 feet in the park with high water volumes typical for spring and early summer.
