Highway 240 crash in Kennewick injures Texas man

A 24-year-old man rolled his car on Highway 240 near Edison Street in Kennewick at 4:05 p.m. Thursday.

Joel Runge, of Brownwood, Texas, was driving a Saturn east when he lost control and entered the median, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The car rolled, coming to rest on its wheels and partially blocking the inside westbound lane.

Runge was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
