Coast Guard plans Kennewick open house

The U.S. Coast Guard station on Clover Island plans an open house in Kennewick on April 30.

Tours of its vessels and facilities, demonstrations, games and a hot dog cookout are planned at the free event. Law enforcement, fire, emergency services and military officials will be available to meet those who attend.

The event is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 434 Clover Island Drive.
